COVID-19 UPDATE

While our office (HUB 248) is physically closed, our professional and student staff continue to work remotely during campus closure to support the health and well-being needs of UCR students. 

Be sure to visit the UCR COVID-19 site for campus updates and information, and check below for the resources and services we are providing in this remote environment.

COVID-19 Wellness Kits

Individuals and campus groups can request FREE COVID-19 Wellness Kit to stay as safe and comfortable as possible during the pandemic. Request links and pick-up locations differ for single kits and bulk kits, so please review the instructions carefully.

Kit Contents: face coverings, hand sanitizer, thermometer, condoms, period products (pads/tampons), stress ball, sleep kit, and more — all to help support your well-being during these stressful and uncertain times.

COVID-19 Wellness Kits are free to students, limit one per student per quarter.  We are also offering some of the items from the Kit for pick-up individually, including face coverings, large bottles of hand sanitizer, and condoms.

Single Kit 

Individual Students: Make an appointment and pick up your single COVID-19 Wellness Kit at the R’Pantry once your appointment has been confirmed.

 

Bulk Kits 

Classrooms, Student Organizations, Residence Halls, etc.: Complete a request form and pick up your bulk COVID-19 Wellness Kits and/or face coverings at The Well once your request has been confirmed.

FAQs

Q: Can I get a free parking permit for the pick-up date? 
A:
No. Please be sure you have a valid parking permit and park in its respective lot.

Q: Can I change my pick-up date/time?
A: We can reschedule your pick-up date to the next pre-determined pick-up date. However, we are unable to add new pick-up dates to our set schedule.

Q: Can you deliver the kit/s?
A: No. Please be sure you are available to meet at the confirmed pick-up location.

Q: Can you help me carry my kit/s to my vehicle or location?
A: No. Please make sure you can safely transport the kit/s from the pick-up location to your destination. 

Q: Will there be COVID-19 safety precautions in place during the pick-up?
A: Yes. Please wear a mask and stand 6 feet apart from other guests.

  • Would you like to get some basic information on mental health, self-care, time management, or managing stress? Book a 30-minute appointment with The Well's Mental Health Educator to learn more about skills and the resources available to you here. This is a non-clinical/non-therapy resource.
Peer-to-Peer Coaching (Health Education):
  • Are you interested in talking with a student peer educator on topics related to physical and mental health? Set up a 30-minute meeting with The Well's Certified Peer Health Educators to get tips and learn resources related to well-being. This is a non-clinical/non-therapy resource.
