Meet the Departments
As a collaborative unit, Student Health and Well-Being offers campus-wide resources and programming designed to promote students' total health and holistic well-being. The Student Health and Well-Being Departments include Basic Needs, Student Affairs Case Management, Counseling and Psychological Services, Recreation, Student Disability Resource Center, Student Health Services, and The Well.
If you're struggling with an issue, whether it’s medical, psychological, psychiatric, social, financial or academic, our case managers will listen, help you brainstorm, problem solve, and ultimately connect you to the right resources.
Counseling and Psychological Services
Provides confidential, psychological and psychiatric services free to all registered UCR students. Individual, couple and group counseling sessions are available. Addresses a wide range of issues including adjustment, relationships, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, identity development, stress and family concerns.

Student Disability Resource Center
Every student at UC Riverside deserves the opportunity to make the most of their university experience. That’s why UCR works hard to ensure that students with disabilities have equal access to educational programs and can fully participate in all aspects of campus life. Student Health Services
Provides affordable, convenient, confidential, high-quality medical care to UCR students. Facility includes a primary care clinic, in-house medical lab, pharmacy and X-ray services. Specialty clinics include women's health, travel, dental and psychiatric services.
Offers fun fitness classes, state-of-the-art equipment and a wide variety of ways to get fit. UCR’s newly expanded Student Recreation Center (SRC) is bigger and better than ever — and it’s all yours! As a registered UCR student, you are automatically a member of this on-campus, 155,000-square-foot facility.
