Meet the Student Wellness Partners
As a collaborative unit, the Student Wellness partners offer campus-wide resources and programming designed to promote students' total health and wellbeing. The Student Wellness Partners are the Student Health Services; Counseling Center; Dean of Students; Housing, Dining and Residential Services; International Student Resource Center; Student Recreation Center and us, the Well.
Student Health Services
Veitch Student Center
Provides affordable, convenient, confidential, high-quality medical care to UCR students. Facility includes a primary care clinic, in-house medical lab, pharmacy and X-ray services. Specialty clinics include women's health, travel, dental and psychiatric services.
Provides confidential, psychological and psychiatric services free to all registered UCR students. Individual, couple and group counseling sessions are available. Addresses a wide range of issues including adjustment, relationships, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, identity development, stress and family concerns.
AVC/Dean of Students Office
Highlander Union Building 381
Helps students manage relationships and family demands, meet academic goals, and maximize their mental and emotional health. Staff includes a mental health educator who provides programming connected to students' mental health needs. Leading supporter of Active Minds (a student group that de-stigmatizes mental health issues on college campuses through outreach). Promotes cross-cultural understanding by coordnating Diversity Dialogues, student retreats, film screenings, guest speakers and diversity workshops.
Housing, Dining and Residential Services

Creates living atmosphere that promotes academic excellence and positive social experiences. Helps residents with personal problems, adjudicates conduct situations and consistently strives to create healthy communities.
International Student Resource Center
University Village, Suite 204
Promotes intercultural programming across campus. Provides immigration adivising and support programs for UCR international students. Offers leadership and mentoring opportunities through the International Peer Advisor Program and Global Connections Partner Program.
Student Recreation Center
Linden Street and Lot 25
Offers fun fitness classes, state-of-the-art equipment and a wide variety of ways to get fit. Free membership for UCR students (paid out of student fees).
